Class of 2020 - Four Directions

Graduation ceremonies are more than just celebration; this is the acknowledgement that hard work, determination, and goals that have been achieved.  Because of your commitment to graduate, greater days ahead will be yours for the taking. The dream of graduating is no longer a dream, it is a reality.  We live in an ever changing and increasingly complex world where creativity, innovation, empathy, grit and hope will be needed to achieve your goals.

By graduating, you have demonstrated perseverance and purpose, but more than anything you have given yourself the opportunity of choice. You now have the ability to choose your path rather than have one imposed on you…but this is completely on you now and how you apply the learned life skill of hard work.

Some of the lessons we have learned this year will serve you well as you enter young adulthood and find your way forward.

Don’t give up, find your voice and use it, be kind, be adaptable, be grateful, have a sense of humour, be reasonable, don’t make excuses they don’t change the situation, stay connected, ask for help, reach out and contribute, be proud of the work you have done, be confident that you have skills and values to make a difference, and above all, be good humans the world is in desperate need of them

Congratulations graduating class of 2020.

Four Directions Class of 2020 Valedictorian Alana Dick

My school experience was great! Four directions has been my favourite school to attend.

A memorable class project was both of my photography projects.

I plan on attending NVIT for my first year of university and then TRU for my second year.

My advice to my fellow grads is this: Make your dreams into reality.
